Many precast producers require effective lifting of precast sandwich panels. The key to this effectiveness is the use of proper lifting inserts. In a variety of situations, inserts can be used to lift precast sandwich panels, box culverts, concrete pipes, steps, slabs, etc. Inserts' primary functions include moving concrete elements, like panels, to storage after stripping, transferring them storage to a delivery truck, and lifting panels from the truck into position at the jobsite.
Lifting inserts are classified into some types like lifting anchor, erection anchor, coil and ferrule inserts, wire loop series.
Overview: Types of concrete lifters and connections
Each insert works in tandem with a reusable exteral lifting device. A "clutch-ring" device that locks onto the top of the embedded insert is used in the lifting anchor inserts. To keep a coil insert secure, a swivel plate is bolted into the thread. The plug-locked into it and the panel to be raised.

2. Panel Wall Connections: Wire Loop Box
Tilt-up construction consists of a series of concrete panels tilted up into place to form the exterior wall of a building. These panels are built on the jobsite with wood forms, rebar, and concrete. To match the final designs, the forms are shaped and the rebar is cut. Following that, the concrete is poured into the forms and finished.
The term " wall to wall connection" refers to the joining of two precast walls. A groove with or without additional shear teeth can be present in the connection. In addition, the connection can be used to form reinforcing bar loops or embeds that act as wall connections.

3. Sandwich panel connectors
Precast concrete sandwich panels are a type of precast cladding that features a layer of insulation sandwiched between two concrete wythes and secured with mechanical connectors to give great thermal resistance.
